The New Garden (III)


I managed to weather the cold, brutal winter without buying (too many) plants, and am now making up for lost time. Orchids are delicate plants and will lose its buds if exposed to a cold draft (a process known as “bud blast”). After losing almost all of the buds on an orchid merely by carrying it home, I told myself I’d wait until spring before I started re-building my collection.
